"So you want to know how it all happened? It started on Main Street in
Mendocino, Ca 20 years ago when we first met. I was cooking chicken soup in my van across from Alphonso's when a woman, I
thought maybe a vision at first, passed the window of my Dodge van.
That was it. My sworn single days were over right before my eyes. The rest is history. I was the Abalone Kid then. We became
"The Abalone Kids" making abalone jewelry that 4 years later was discovered by The Smithsonian Institution of Wash, D.C and
exhibited at The National Museum of American Art."
First off we want to tell you that if you like our creativity we confess to being humbled by our success. To be frank,
we didn't have a clue to begin with as to how to make jewelry. We were professional people. In fact we both had many good
years under our belt in the world of big business. Imagine, only God could have done this for us...we learned from scratch.

WHY ABALONE?
We know abalone and are certain its gem quality is very valuable. You will see that our collection of wild red, green
and black abalone has no equal in the world. No one has explored the coastal areas of the western hemisphere like we have
salvaging from extinction rare abalone pieces and a most valuable artifact of the 20th Century. After 24 years of experience
with abalone we can guarantee it.
My wife and I have
been designing jewelry and doing ministry for 20 years. We have started a NEW CHANNEL on YouTube called ABALONEWORLD which

I had been a homeless minister on the
streets of LA and other parts of California in the 1980's. This was a far cry from a law career in NYC that God slowly removed
me from after I had achieved some modest success. How was I to know LAW was a training ground before His Grace got a hold
of me! And so was the music career I had established at night in the Cabaret.
Living by His grace through faith God
blessed me with pieces of abalone shells I found on beaches of N. California where I was ministering to the homeless. I had
no idea that this creature existed until I stumbled upon a piece of shell on the beach one day.
Six years later, after
collecting countless pieces, Jackie and I met and married and began working together to make jewelry. She is quite a talented
designer who is self taught like me. At this time I had no money to speak of but A LOT OF ABALONE! and by faith she and I
set out to make jewelry having not a clue what we could do with it.
WE BECAME THE ABALONEKIDS!
Abalone dates
back in God's creation 175 Million years! I later found out that the more colorful abalone (There are over 75 varieties in
the world) are called "Opals of the sea" and by professional standards are "GEM' quality. Abalone also gives birth to unusually
shaped pearls and if large enough are extremely valuable.
GOD TAKES CARE OF HIS OWN IN WAYS ONE CANNOT IMAGINE!!! He
placed me on the street and then the beach and gave me the means to earn a modest living with Jackie as well as pay for ALL
our ministry expenses.
