Here is my testimony about God's work in my life. I wanted to put the details together in the way they flowed from
my heart. I appreciate the opportunity to tell my story...I want people to see the way God continues to change me (how He
changes all of us, in fact!) in new and blessed ways.
I was fortunate to have been born into a wonderful family with a strong foundation of God and His teachings. My paternal
Grandmother was instrumental in guiding me. As such, I grew up with a devout sense of who is truly in charge. My stubborn,
hard-headed personality often pushed God aside with the misguided notion that I could do the job myself or do it without His
help.
It's good that our Lord is patient and loving. He is a merciful God, indeed.
I'm learning to embrace humbleness as I strive, in faith, to earn His honor. The honor that comes from my Lord looking at
me, one wonderful day, and telling me "well done, my good and faithful servant" in that I "did my job, the job exactly as
promised...even better..." for Him, not for anyone on this earth...and that I did it in His Spirit of love.
