Malibu sits on the Pacific Ocean and is home to many movie stars like Jane Seymour, pictured
below, as well as famous personalities in the movie and TV industries. It has a population of about 15,000 and is always
an attraction for the traveler or visitors from all over the world.
Many trendsetters in film, fashion and music are "locals". Sometimes you can spot a movie star
at a local coffee shop or dining out at one of the many restaurants along the beach. And they might be wearing an abalone
necklace and earrings that we designed like Jane is wearing.
Jane Seymour has written a new book that's coming out in 2007. She photographed 7 of
our necklaces at her house that overlooks the Pacific Ocean to use them in her book. I wanted her to buy them all for a smart
investment in posterity.

Malibu, like much of Southern California, is a land of the mixed multitude. There are numerous
spiritual beliefs enshrined in the community, in church organizations, at least one Jewish synagague, a plethora of free thinkers
and students of "enlightened ones" with persuasions that span religions and secret organizations dating back to ancient Babylon.
It is no easy task to see beyond the glitter and scorn, the subtle prejudices, and superficial materialism and touch the heart
of such pretense with something different, something new like abalone jewelry.
